Our experience at 88 Bao Bao yesterday was exceptional from start to finish. The restaurant features an inviting, friendly atmosphere and is spotlessly clean throughout. It is immediately clear that the head chef takes immense pride in his culinary creations, utilizing only the freshest ingredients to bring authentic flavors to life. The front-end staff and the kitchen work together seamlessly, resulting in fast service and great customer care. To top it all off, the portions are huge, offering incredible value.

Overall the BEST experience for first timers. Staff was very nice, I didn’t get names but the two in the front were very attentive. The MUSIC was spectacular, I was singing every song in there! Atmosphere was very clean and kept up with. The food was a 10/10! Delicious and rich in flavor. We had the Taiwan beef noodle soup (didn’t finish it all but it was honestly the best soup I’ve ever had) , chicken fried rice, golden fried buns with condensed milk (SOO GOOD ALSO VERY FLUFFY!) , and the pork soup dumplings (amazing). Will definitely come back again and I highly suggest giving it a try!

The scallion pancake is very flaky very good! Not your hardcore Chinese restaurant with the owner’s kid doing homework at the tables. Clean modern decor with ordering at the counter, no waiters, so the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Cooker is Chinese :).

I am a huge dumpling fan. We stopped in when visiting and wow was it worth it. We did order way too much food for two people but the food was incredible. We had mentioned we were visiting from Houston and they advised us that their food is authentic and in comparison to the Houston Asian food scene very similar and delicious. I could not agree more. I will say my favorite was the orange chicken. It was the best orange chicken I have ever had it was crispy and sweet with a slight kick. I would honestly come back just for that. The dumplings were good as well but the orange chicken and beef lo main were the top of our list. Can’t wait to come back when I visit again.

We were famished and were looking for something familiar but different for dinner. Yelp suggested 88 Baobao and we were happy to try them in McKinney Tx, but had tried and liked their Cali branch earlier! First of all a wide smile and eagerness to serve seemed ingrained into the staff here. We ordered quickly and our food was brought quickly ! It was served piping hot and for the first time in a long while I thoroughly enjoyed slurping my XLB while came in quickly and almost too hot to eat! Yumm! We also got the HarGaw and enjoyed them thoroughly as well ! Portion sizes were huge so the Shrimp Fried Rice and the Kung Pao Chicken that we ordered, though tantalizingly inviting, had to be taken as to go after only a few bites! We loved everything about this place and place to come again very soon!
